Attorney Adam Cherensky, Benefits Program Director at the Alliance for Children's Rights Adam spoke about the free legal services and advocacy the Alliance provides for impoverished and/or foster children in the Los Angeles area. He is in charge of securing medical coverage and therapies for these children/youth as well as making sure they have the appropriate educational services needed to combat learning delays and behavioral issues. Adam is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law.

Feb 12 was potluck night at the Clubhouse for our family and friends. We were treated to a wonderful evening of music by the El Segundo Saxaphone Players.

We seem to bursting with ideas for 2015 and hope many of you will join us. The clubhouse is open free to everyone on the first and third Wednesday mornings for fun, games and fellowship. Members of the community can bring sewing projects, board games, brown bag lunches, cards and crafts while enjoying each others company. I Members and our families were treated to a tour of the Water Treatment Facility where 10% of the water treated at the Hyperion plant is piped. Most of us eagerly drank the treated water and found it pleasant.
